You pay only for a scaffold that builds. A failed build is not charged. Connecting the MCP, browsing the catalog and calling get_help are free.

With an account: credits

One scaffold = 100 credits. Sign in once with MCP OAuth (or send your account API key as the connection's Authorization header).

No account: x402

0.5 USDC on Base per scaffold. Your agent calls purchase_scaffold without signing in, gets an HTTP 402 with the payment details, pays, and retries. Settled only if the build succeeds.

Before sending funds, check /pay.json — it says whether wallet payment is switched on right now.
