Which cookies BotKelp uses, why they are necessary, and how you can control them.
What this covers
This policy describes cookies and similar storage on the BotKelp website. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Cookies we use
We use strictly necessary cookies only. They are required to provide a service you have asked for (a signed-in session) or to remember that you have seen this notice. We do not use advertising, social, or analytics cookies.
- Session cookie: set when you sign in, so the site can tell it is you on later requests. It is HttpOnly, tied to this site, and expires with the session.
- Cookie-notice acknowledgement: stored in your browser (local storage) after you dismiss the notice, so we do not show it on every visit.
Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules. We still tell you about them. The session cookie is processed as part of the contract to provide your account. The notice flag is stored on your device at your request when you dismiss the banner.
How to control them
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, or use private browsing. If you delete the session cookie you will be signed out. If you delete the notice flag, the cookie banner will appear again.
Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies; we do not set any.
Changes
If we ever add a non-essential cookie we will update this policy and ask for consent before setting it.
